Another great night enjoying The Mersey Echoes, this time at The Cross Keys in Marlow. As usual, the band played a great set with all the expected classics from the 60\'s and soon had the crowd up and dancing, including the youngsters. They certainly do not disappoint and made the trip from Langley well worth while. Looking forward to your gig in August at the Rose and Crown Sandhurst if we don\'t catch you before.

“We enjoyed the Mersey Echoes performance last night at the Barley Mow in Cox Green. We were a family group (Mum and Dad in their 50's, along with daughter of 30+, daughter and partner of mid 20's and the youngest and her boyfriend of 19 years), so not so easy to keep everyone happy. The band managed to do so though playing a list of hits from the 60's including many from The Beatles, The Hollies, Kinks and Stones in particular. The pub had a good crowd gathered to hear the band with the same selection of age ranges. The sounds were much appreciated by the crowd and although there was no proper dance-floor, this didn't stop a few of the ladies getting up for a jig. They covered so many hits from the 60's, the vast majority of which were very familiar to me, but we particularly enjoyed Dedicated Follower of Fashion and I Saw Her Standing There. The landlord made an excellent choice in booking this band, and we shall look out for a return to Cox Green or anywhere in the Slough area. They were well worth the drive from Langley and come highly recommended to all. Great gig guys, please do more shows on your home turf!”
